New K3 - Beachslam's first Regatta

The K3 project started in August of 2010 as a discussion on the dingy docks, almost two years later and I've just sailed my K3 'Beachslam' at its first regatta - and won.  Woohoo.  The project has been a blast as we've moved from stage to stage designing, building tooling, a prototype, pre-production (Beachslam!) and production - delivering hull 4 outside the circle of the K3 project teams.

This boat is awesome, black, shinny and fast.  I would never have been at this point without the efforts of a LOT of people in Toronto and our friends Dave A and CST in Australia!  Paterson Composites is a premium carbon shop and their attention to the details really make the boat stand apart.  Steve has been involved every step of the way and his signature of performance, quality and unique design appeal is all over the boat.  Finally thanks to the tireless efforts from my K3 partner Jason, crew John and the dozens of suppliers and volunteers that made it all possible.
